Two people injured in serious crash in Dakota County Sunday morning

Two people were hurt in a serious crash in Hampton Township Sunday morning, near 280th Street East and Highway 56.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol incident report, the crash happened at 5:12 a.m. They say the driver of the Infinity G35 car was northbound on Highway 56 when the vehicle went off-road and rolled.

The report says road conditions at the time included ice and snow.

The 19-year-old passenger in the car was taken to Regions Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The 20-year-old driver has non-life-threatening injuries. He was not taken to a hospital.
