St. Paul Saints unveil new uniforms, including new powder blue set

The St. Paul Saints have released their new uniforms, which feature some tweaks ahead of their first season as the Minnesota Twins’ AAA minor league affiliate.

Their home whites and road grays are staying largely the same, with some small changes: The sleeves will now feature yellow-and-blue stripes reminiscent of the St. Paul city flag, and all jerseys will have the Twins’ interlocking "TC" logo on the right sleeve and the St. Paul flag on the left sleeve. They’ll be paired with blue socks with three yellow stripes.

The team also unveiled two alternate uniforms — a Saints blue jersey that’s an inverse of their home whites and a powder blue uniform set that pays homage to the uniforms the Twins donned in the ’70s and ’80s and recently revived. The powder blue alternates will be paired with a retro dark blue "STP" cap worn by the original franchise Charles Comiskey brought to St. Paul in the 1890s.

The Saints open their season at Omaha on Tuesday and will play their home opener CHS Field on May 11.
