Man in critical condition following shooting in Summit-University neighborhood, 1 in custody

UPDATE: Police say a man is in critical condition after being shot Sunday night in St. Paul.

According to St. Paul police, officers were called to the 600 block of Selby Avenue for reports of shots being fired shortly after 9 p.m.

When they arrived, they found a 44-year-old man with an apparent gunshot wound outside of an apartment complex. He was then taken to Regions Hospital, where he is expected to survive his injuries.

A 57-year-old man was arrested after police spoke with witnesses. he is being held at the Ramsey County Jail for 1st Degree Assault.

Police say they did find a gun at the scene.
