St. Paul man gets 3 years in prison for MPD 3rd Precinct arson
A St. Paul man has been sentenced for his role in the arson of the Minneapolis Police Department’s Third Precinct building.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office said 25-year-old Davon De-Andre Turner went to the Third Precinct on the night of May 28, 2020, where hundreds of people had gathered.
At one point, Turner and another man, who was later identified as Bryce Michael Williams, lit an incendiary device and took it into the precinct building to start a fire.
Turner was sentenced Thursday to three years in prison. He was also ordered to pay $12 million in restitution.
Williams is scheduled to be sentenced on June 7.
Two other co-conspirators — Dylan Shakespeare Robinson and Branden Michael Wolfe — have already been sentenced for their roles in the arson.
