A St. Paul man that was charged in connection to a burglary, sexual assault and police pursuit was sentenced Monday.

According to a criminal complaint, Groves broke into a St. Louis Park home on Nov. 3, assaulted the woman who lived there, held her for several hours and then forced her to withdraw money from her account at two ATMs.

On Nov. 15, authorities said law enforcement executed an arrest warrant but Groves fled, leading to a high-speed pursuit.

The pursuit began in Newport and ended in Hudson, Wis. after authorities used a pit maneuver.
