St. Paul father charged, warrant issued for arrest after 7-month-old daughter went missing
Charges have been filed against a St. Paul man who authorities believe was with 7-month-old Chanelle Jones when she went missing on Thursday.
Jamal Jones, 21, has been charged with misdemeanor domestic assault and gross misdemeanor stalking. According to court documents, Jones is still not in custody, and a warrant for his arrest was issued on Thursday.
UPDATE: St. Paul police say missing 7-month-old reunited with mother
On Thursday, the St. Paul Police Department issued out a missing person alert for Chanelle, Jones's daughter.
Throughout the day, updates were made about Chanelle and Jones's whereabouts, and just before 8 p.m., the child was safely located and reunited with her mother.
According to police, Chanelle was dropped off at North Memorial Urgent Care in Minnetonka by an unknown adult at about 6 p.m. The child was not harmed. She was later taken to Children's Hospital in St. Paul.
