SPPS classes, activities canceled Friday as teacher strike continues
St. Paul Public Schools announced Thursday afternoon that classes and activities on Friday are canceled.
The news comes as the teacher strike continued into its third day Thursday.
The district said talks resumed with the teachers union Thursday morning but no deal had been reached as of Thursday evening.

SPPS said 24 of its community meal sites are serving two daily meals and Kid Space offers breakfast and lunch each day. Kid Space sites are open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and bus transportation is still available.
