Sheriff: Woman in 'critical condition' after crash in Anoka County

A woman was injured after a crash that occurred in Anoka County Monday afternoon.

According to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called just before 4:30 p.m. on the report of a crash at the intersection of Lake George Boulevard and 197th Avenue Northwest in Oak Grove.

The sheriff's office said when deputies arrived, they found a 30-year-old woman from Coon Rapids in critical condition. The woman was later transported to Hennepin County Medical Center.

Investigators learned the woman was driving a Toyota Camry southbound on Lake George Boulevard when her vehicle lost control and struck a GMC pickup that was northbound.
