Sexual assault reported in U of M West Bank parking ramp

A sexual assault was reported Friday night in a parking ramp on the University of Minnesota's West Bank campus.

According to a U of M Safe-U advisory, the sexual assault happened around 8:23 p.m. Friday inside a parking ramp at 300 19th Ave. S.

The suspect is described as a tall, skinny male with short hair. He was wearing a ball cap, a black jacket with a gray hoodie underneath, dark sweatpants and tennis shoes at the time of the assault.

Those in the area were asked to use caution.
