Sexual assault reported in Powderhorn Park; suspect in custody

A suspect is in custody in connection with an alleged sexual assault early Sunday morning at the Powderhorn Park encampment in Minneapolis.
According to the Minneapolis Park Police, a report came in just after 2 a.m. of a sexual assault at the encampment. The adult victim received medical care, and officers arrested the suspect near the park.
No formal charges have been filed.
The incident remains under investigation.
Park Police are also investigating a separate incident last week in which a juvenile was allegedly sexually assaulted at the park.
