Severe thunderstorm watch in effect for parts of Minnesota, Wisconsin

A tornado warning in St. Croix County, Wisconsin, including Baldwin and Woodville, has expired.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect for parts of eastern and southeastern Minnesota — including Anoka, Ramsey and Washington counties — and much of Wisconsin through 2 a.m.

Damaging winds are likely, and quarter-size hail is possible.


A tornado warning has been issued for parts of Polk County, Wisconsin, until 9 p.m., including the towns of Luck and Milltown.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect for parts of eastern and southeastern Minnesota — including Anoka, Ramsey and Washington counties — and much of Wisconsin through 2 a.m.


A tornado warning is also in effect for Pine County in east-central Minnesota and Burnett County in northwestern Wisconsin until 8:30 p.m.

According to the National Weather Service, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Rock Creek moving southeast at 40 mph. A tornado and quarter-size hail are possible.
