Two people died and three others were hurt in separate shootings just hours apart Thursday.
The first shooting happened around 6 p.m. at a north Minneapolis barbershop, near North Lyndale Avenue and North 42nd Avenue.
Investigators said they believe someone shot into the barbershop from outside, hitting three people.
One person died at the scene.
The others drove themselves to the hospital and are expected to be OK.
Then—about two hours later—shots were fired in the Harrison neighborhood of Minneapolis.
Officers responded to the scene near Penn Avenue North and Glenwood Avenue.
Two men were later dropped off at the hospital. One later died and the other is in critical condition.
Anyone with information on the cases is urged to call police.
