Separate shootings in Brooklyn Park leave 2 men injured
Two victims are suffering from a gunshot wound from two separate shootings on Sunday in Brooklyn Park.
According to the Brooklyn Park Police Department, the first shooting happened at 12:58 p.m. A witness told officers that a man was shot at a gas station on the 6300 block of Zane Avenue North.
Once officers arrived, they located the man with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was later transported to the hospital with injuries considered to be not life-threatening.
The next shooting happened at 2:29 p.m. A witness told officers that a man was shot at an apartment building in the 7500 block of Jersey Avenue North.
Officers located the man with a gunshot wound, and he was transported to the hospital with injuries that are not considered to be life-threatening.
Both incidents remain under investigation.
