Second overnight homicide investigation begins after man found fatally shot

Minneapolis Police found a man with fatal gunshot wounds around 12:20 a.m. Sunday near West 14th Street and Willow Street.

The victim was identified as 34-year-old Malcolm Dewayne Andrews.

The shooting prompted the second Minneapolis homicide investigation within a few hours.

The Minneapolis Police Forensic Division has processed the scene and collected evidence.

The Minneapolis Police Homicide Division has started investigating.

At this time, authorities have not said anything about the two overnight shootings being related.

No arrests have been made for either incident.
