Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff to visit Minneapolis Tuesday

Just days after Vice President Kamala Harris visited the Twin Cities, the White House has announced her husband will also be in the metro this week.
According to the White House, Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff will be traveling to Minneapolis for political events this week. The visit is currently scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 25.
No details regarding the political events were immediately announced.
As previously reported, Harris participated in a roundtable conversation about abortion rights with Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan this past weekend at Metropolitan State University. The White House says she will be in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Tuesday for another event on reproductive rights. She is also expected to speak at a finance event.
