The Isanti Police Department is still searching for a missing 32-year-old woman who was last seen Thursday night.

A missing person report for Amanda Jo Vangrinsven was filed on Friday morning. She did not show up for work that day.

Search parties started combing fields, wooded areas and the sides of 261st Avenue in Isanti on Tuesday, trying to find any sign of Vangrinsven.

"It’s been an absolute shocker of people who have known her or willing to help in the search in any capacity," said Nathan Kadlec, who helped search for Vangrinsven.

Kadlec said it’s an area where searchers learned her phone last pinged.

Dozens of volunteers, including family, friends and total strangers came out to help with search efforts.

"Support of the community, they are all around us, comforting us — it’s heartwarming," Kim Vangrinsven, Amanda Jo’s mother, said.

"It means everything…any and everybody can and has shown up — it’s amazing," Amanda Jo’s sister, Jennifer Plowman, added.

The sheriff’s office said its investigation shifted to a property on 261st Avenue on Monday night. 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS saw law enforcement searching a home, several outbuildings and that property on Tuesday. Investigators aren’t saying what led them to the property.

A preliminary investigation indicates that Vangrinsven was last known to be at the Dugout Bar and Grill, located in Bethel, on Thursday at around 11 p.m. It’s believed that she left in a vehicle, heading in a northwest direction.

As of Tuesday, authorities are still working to find out what happened after she left the bar.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Isanti County Sheriff’s Dispatch at 763-698-2141.

Multiple agencies are assisting in the search to find Vangrinsven, including: Isanti Police, Isanti County Sheriff’s Office, Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
