Remnants of Tropical Storm Cristobal expected to bring rain Tuesday

The remnants of Tropical Storm Cristobal is forecast to bring wet weather across Minnesota during the day Tuesday.
According to KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl, two to three inches of rain is expected across the southern and eastern portions of the state. Much of that southeast portion of the state will be under a flash flood watch as river and stream levels rise.

Coming into Wednesday, the rain will slow to a trickle as the temperatures also drop. High temperatures for the Twin Cities through midweek will peak in the 70s.
As the weekend approaches, temperatures should rise again back into the 80s.
