Radio legends get together for a cause
You may have heard some familiar voices on the airwaves Tuesday during the morning commute.
Some Twin Cities radio legends got together on radio station BOB FM for a special cause.
The morning show held a fundraiser to end Alzheimer’s.
Legendary disc jockey Chuck Knapp lost both of his in-laws to the disease.
“Anything we can do anything at all to help,” Knapp said. “What if it helps just one person at a time. This can sweep you away in stages over six months to six years. It’s really sad.”

The event raised more than $2,000.
