A portion of westbound Interstate 94 in St. Michael is closed Monday morning due to a semi crash.
KSTP Traffic Reporter Josie Smith said the crash happened along the interstate near Highway 241.
Smith said both lanes were blocked and said traffic was being detoured onto the ramp at Highway 241, then back onto I-94.
She added that drivers were seeing slowdowns along eastbound I-94 from Albertville to St. Michael as well.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation reported the closure was expected to be in place until at least noon Monday.

Backups for EB traffic too! Expect gawker slowdown on I-94 EB from Albertville to St. Michael with the closure on I-94 WB. Check out the delays on Hwy 10 EB in Elk River. Unfortunately, that won’t work as a good alternate for EB commuters. https://t.co/wiagwePlXs pic.twitter.com/fKF4un8Arq
