Police: Woman injured in shooting following custody dispute in Minneapolis, child unharmed

Police say a woman was injured following a shooting Wednesday night in Minneapolis.

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, at 9:30 p.m., shots were fired at the 1200 block of Morgan Avenue North.

Officers stated that a man shot a woman during a child custody dispute.

The victim suffered injuries that are not considered to be life-threatening.

There was also no indication that the child was harmed, according to police.
