Police investigating fatal St. Paul shooting

Authorities in St. Paul are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred overnight.
The St. Paul Police Department said officers were called just after midnight to the 700 block of Lexington Avenue South on the report of a person in distress.
Responding officers located a man who suffered an apparent gunshot wound.
Police say the man was taken to Regions Hospital, where he later died.
No arrests have been made.
