Police investigating 2 shootings in same location in Brooklyn Park

Police are investigating two shootings that happened in the same location in Brooklyn Park Thursday evening.

The Brooklyn Park Police Department said the first shooting occurred at about 6 p.m. in the area of 63rd Avenue and Zane Avenue.

Police said eight rounds were fired. It is unknown if anyone was injured.

The second shooting happened just 7:45 p.m. Police say one person was shot in the leg.

No arrests have been made in connection to the two incidents.

Businesses in the area were closed following the shootings.
