Police identify woman killed in shooting in St. Paul's Riverview neighborhood

Authorities have identified a woman who was killed near St. Paul's Riverview neighborhood early Wednesday as 29-year-old Ashli Johnson.

According to police, officers were called just before 3 a.m. to the intersection of Hall Avenue and Stevens Street West on the report of a gunshot. 

When authorities arrived, they located Johnson, who suffered apparent gunshot wounds. 

Police said Johnson died at the scene.
