Police arrest 1 after office building standoff Wednesday night in Minnetonka
UPDATE: The Minnetonka Police Department reported that one person is in custody and that there is no longer an active situation at the 11000 block of Wayzata Boulevard.

Police are trying to apprehend a possibly armed man who is barricaded inside an office building in Minnetonka as of 9:30 p.m.
A city official said the suspect entered the building in the 11000 block of Wayzata Boulevard around 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
The building is currently vacant, but a renovation crew inside at the time had to evacuate the structure, according to the official.
A 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS crew at the scene saw several police vehicles, including an armored personnel carrier.
Police have blocked off the road leading to the building and are asking people to avoid the area.
There is a significant law enforcement presence at 11055 Wayzata Blvd. as @mtkapd investigate reports of an armed intruder. The incident is isolated to the building. This is in the vicinity of Hopkins Crossroad and 394. Please avoid the area.
