Police: 81-year-old woman dies after being struck by vehicle in St. Cloud

An 81-year-old woman died Friday after being struck by a vehicle in St. Could.

According to the St. Cloud Police Department, officers were called just before 7 p.m. to the area of University Drive South and Seventh Avenue South on the report of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle.

When officers arrived, they learned a vehicle driven by a 32-year-old woman was westbound on University Drive South when it hit a woman who was walking south on the 900 block of Seventh Avenue South.

Police identified the pedestrian as Khadija Ahmed Hussein.

Hussein died at St. Cloud Hospital several hours after being hit, police said.
