Police: 1 man dead in Minneapolis shooting
A man died early Sunday morning from a shooting in Minneapolis, according to the Minneapolis Police Department.
At 12:05 a.m., police responded to multiple ShotSpotter activations in the area of 2400 block of Emerson Avenue North.
Once officers arrived at the scene, they located a man dead inside a vehicle on the same block. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, said police.
No suspects have been arrested for the incident.
Investigators arrived on the scene and assisted in canvassing the area. The Minneapolis Police Department Crime Lab also responded and collected evidence.
The medical examiner will release the victim’s identity, along with the nature and cause of death in the days to come.
