There’s going to be another round of weekend closures. Detours will be put in place for those driving into the north, east, and south metro.

The eastbound lanes of Interstate 694 will be closed between Highway 61 in Vadnais Heights and 10th Street in Oakdale while crews make repairs to the concrete.

Minnesota Department of Transportation crews say they plan to lessen traffic impacts by having crews work 24-hour shifts through the weekend.

I-694 closes at 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday. The detour takes drivers to Interstate 35E and Interstate 94.

The ramp from Interstate 35W southbound to Highway 10 westbound closes this weekend, starting at midnight. The good news is, the ramp from I-35W northbound to Highway 10 westbound will finally reopen to two lanes on Monday.

Highway 100 is shutting down along a short stretch between Interstate 494 and 84th Street in Bloomington in the south metro. At the same time, the ramp from I-494 eastbound to Normandale Boulevard will close.

The maintenance project starts at 10 p.m. Friday and wraps up by 5 a.m. Monday.

This one’s just overnight, but look for I-494 to close in both directions in Eden Prairie from Highway 169 to Highway 212 Sunday night.

MnDOT will postpone the closure along I-35W northbound from Highway 62 to Highway 280 that was set for Friday night until noon Saturday. The work is related to a resurfacing project north of downtown.
