Phone service issues affect St. Louis County residents' ability to connect to 911
St. Louis County residents may experience issues affecting cellphones and landline phones in various parts of the county, officials reported Wednesday,
According to county officials, the issues have contributed to residents' difficulties in reaching 911 emergency services.
Officials said CenturyLink landlines and AT&T cell service has been interrupted in Buhl. Anyone needing assistance who is unable to connect to 911 services should report emergencies directly at the Ambulance Hall on Jones Avenue where staff is on site.
Meanwhile, officials said those unable to use a cellphone to connect to 911 services should try using a landline. AT&T is also recommending customers enable Wi-Fi calling as well.
