Person in ‘grave condition’ after shooting in Minneapolis
One person was transported to a hospital in "grave condition" after a shooting in Minneapolis early Saturday morning.
According to Minneapolis Police spokesperson John Elder, an officer on patrol was flagged down by people in a vehicle on the 300 block of 21st Avenue North at about 2:06 a.m. They advised police they needed help and had a victim who was suffering from a gunshot wound in the vehicle.
An ambulance was called for the victim. As the officer was providing aid to the victim, gunshots could still be heard happening in the area mentioned and in the area of the 300 block of West Broadway. The ambulance transported the victim to North Memorial Hospital, where he was determined to be in grave condition. As of 11 a.m. Saturday, the victim is still alive.
Two other men showed up to the same hospital with non-life threatening gunshot wounds, and stated it happened in the same location.
No one is in custody at this time.
