Pedestrian killed in Brooklyn Park crash identified as 21-year-old man

A pedestrian who was struck and killed in a crash Friday night in Brooklyn Park has been identified as 21-year-old William Todd.
According to the Brooklyn Park Police Department, the crash happened around 10:24 p.m. near 85th Avenue North and Stratford Lane. First responders started giving the victim CPR, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle that struck Todd remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, police said.
The Brooklyn Park Police Department is still investigating the crash.
