Pedestrian hit, killed in crash on border of Maplewood, Oakdale

A crash left one person dead Thursday night on the border of Oakwood and Maplewood.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a fatal crash took place around 9:16 p.m. on Southbound Highway 120 near 15th Street on the border of Oakdale and Maplewood.
According to an incident report, the driver of a Buick was traveling northbound on Highway 120 as an SUV was traveling southbound. A pedestrian was crossing the highway and was struck by both vehicles, according to the state patrol.
The female pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Highway 120 was closed while authorities investigated, the state patrol said.
