Park Police investigating alleged sex assault of juvenile at Powderhorn Park

Authorities are investigating after they say a juvenile victim was sexually assaulted overnight at Powderhorn Park.
According to the Minneapolis Park Police, an unknown suspect assaulted the victim between 11 p.m. Thursday and 1 a.m. Friday. People at the park brought the victim to Abbott Northwestern Hospital, where staff contacted the police.
No arrest has been made in the assault, and little suspect information is available.
The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
