Monday morning, 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS is working to learn more about a police investigation in north Minneapolis.

A 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS crew was at the scene at Aldrich and Eighth avenues just after 11 p.m. Sunday.

It wasn’t clear whether anyone was hurt or whether any arrests were made.

There were multiple investigators placing a handful of evidence markers at the scene, next to a vigil.

It was the same intersection where 12-year-old London Bean was shot on Sept. 8. He later died.

Police said Bean and another child got into a fight when the other child’s brother started firing a gun, hitting Bean.

That brother, 18-year-old Jeremiah Marquise Grady, was charged last week with second-degree murder in connection with Bean’s death.

Police are still looking for Grady.
