Overnight Minneapolis shooting leaves 3 injured

Police confirm three people were shot overnight following an altercation early Sunday morning outside a Minneapolis nightclub.

Officers heard gunfire at 1:44 a.m. outside the Casablanca Night Club at the intersection of Lyndale Avenue South and West Lake Street and responded to the scene. Three people were found injured by gunfire in the rear parking lot of the club, police said.

One male in his 20s suffered a life-threatening gunshot wound, while two females, both in their 20s, suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. All three victims were transported to Hennepin Healthcare.

An early investigation shows an altercation outside the club escalated into gunfire.

Minneapolis police processed the scene but so far there are no arrests.
