At least 30 people are without a place to stay Tuesday morning after an apartment fire in Robbinsdale.

According to fire officials, around 12 a.m., an apartment on 36th and France Avenue North had caught on fire.

The fire was contained to the apartment where the fire started, but there was water damage. Fire crews had to shut off the gas and electricity to the building.

Fire officials said 30 residents were displaced due to the sprinklers going off and the gas and electricity being shut down.

No one was injured in the fire and the Red Cross is helping the residents who are unable to return to their apartments.
