Motorcyclist dies after crash Sunday in Brooklyn Center

Police say a motorcyclist is dead after crashing into a minivan Sunday morning in Brooklyn Center.
According to the Brooklyn Center Police Department, around 11:30 a.m., a minivan heading south on Brooklyn Boulevard turned left to head east on 70th Avenue North when it was broadsided by a motorcycle.
An off-duty paramedic was giving CPR to the motorcyclist when police arrived at the crash scene. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office later notified Brooklyn Center police that the motorcyclist had died.
The crash remains under investigation. Police do not believe alcohol was a factor.
