The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) lists area roadways across the metro region as either completely or partially covered following an overnight snowfall.
Shortly before 6 a.m., there were a handful of spin-outs reported.
While snowplows are out, there are still some lanes that are not yet plowed.
Plow drivers will be working to clear roadways before more bitter cold temperatures arrive. Meteorologist Ken Barlow says Monday’s high temperature will be in the single digits above zero, while Tuesday’s high will be hovering at or below zero.
Accumulating snow is over for the next 7-days. Flurries here and there, but no big storms thru next weekend. A very cold to start to the week and then a warm up is on the way! #kstp pic.twitter.com/ydO9qmUucq
