Missing St. Paul woman found dead in creek
A 91-year-old woman was found dead Saturday evening in St. Paul, police said.
According to the St. Paul Police Department, the woman, Shoua, had gone missing around 6:15 a.m. Friday in the North End neighborhood. She was found in a creek around 6:30 p.m. Saturday near the corner of Arlington Avenue and Jackson Street.
The Ramsey County Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of Shoua’s death.
Family members said Shoua had memory issues, and police do not believe foul play is not suspected.
A memorial fund has been started by her family.
