Missing St. Paul man found dead; cause of death under investigation

A 73-year-old who’d been missing in St. Paul was found dead Wednesday morning.
According to St. Paul Police, You Houa Thao was found at about 10:30 a.m. in a wooded area near the 1500 block of Jackson Street. He’d been missing since May 8.
Police said they’re working with the medical examiner to determine the cause of Thao’s death, which is standard procedure.

You Houa Thao, 73, who had been missing since May 8, was located deceased at about 10:30 this morning in a wooded area near the 1500 block of Jackson St.

Thao’s family set up a GoFundMe page to help cover his funeral expenses.
