Missing New Hope boy with autism found safe
A boy who had gone missing on Saturday in New Hope has been found safe, the New Hope Police Department said in an update.
New Hope police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing juvenile with autism who walked away from home Saturday morning.
According to the New Hope Police Department, the boy left his home Saturday morning on the 3500 block of Independence Avenue North. He is described as a Black male who is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds. He has short hair and is believed to be wearing a gray zip-up hoodie.
Police said the boy has autism and is "friendly and approachable." It is unknown where he might have gone.
