Missing Mankato woman found safe

Mankato-Public Safety is asking for the public’s help to find a missing woman.

Kathleen Jo Gimenez, a 21-year-old Asian woman, was last seen around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12 in the 500 block of Record Street in Mankato, according to a news release from Mankato authorities.

She was reportedly wearing a red jacket, black pants and black converse shoes. She is described as being 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds.

The news release states that Gimenez has not contacted friends or family, and that her whereabouts are unknown at this time.

Anyone with information Gimenez’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact Mankato Public Safety at 507-387-8725.
