Minnesota State Patrol investigating fatal crash

The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash Friday in Newport.

According to the state patrol, the fatal crash happened at northbound Highway 61 near Glen Road in Newport.

Northbound Highway 61 will be closed for an extended period of time.
