Dozens of healthcare workers begin strike Monday

A group of healthcare workers will go on strike Monday.

More than 60 workers employed by Minnesota Epilepsy Group operating at multiple hospitals and clinics in the metro will go on a five day strike.

Workers began picketing outside Abbott Northwestern around 6:30 a.m.

Union members say they negotiated six times before authorizing a strike, and are looking for higher wages and retirement security.
