Minnesota families struggle to stretch budgets

With high inflation, everyone has to deal with rising costs.

Minnesota families are tracking every penny they spend.

Ashley Zavala lives is Saint Paul. Zavala’s family has cut back on long road trips, going out for dinner, and they’re closely watching what they buy at the grocery store.

“This past year or two has been just a massive jump in how much things cost,” Zavala said.

Families tell us they’re hoping prices will start to fall, but they’re not holding their breath.
