Minneapolis shooting leaves 1 dead, no one in custody

Police say one man is dead following a late night shooting in Minneapolis Thursday.

According to Minneapolis police, officers were called to the 1800 block of Sheridan Avenue N. just before 10 p.m. after getting information from Shotspotter technology.

While arriving at the scene, officers were told a man had arrived at North Memorial Medical Center who had multiple gunshot wounds.

Despite efforts, police say the man died at the hospital.

No one is currently in custody for the shooting.

Police identified the victim as being in his 30’s.

The shooting is sill being investigated.
