Minneapolis police investigating homicide in city’s northside

The Minneapolis Police Department is investigating a homicide Wednesday in the city’s northside.

Investigators said at around 7 a.m., officers were called on a report of a person down near 35th and Knox avenues north.

Once officers arrived, they reported finding a body with obvious trauma.

No information was given about what happened to the victim, but more details are expected to be released at a later time.
