Police investigating attempted robbery outside Children’s Minnesota hospital

The Minneapolis Police Department is investigating an attempted robbery outside Children’s Minnesota hospital after 7 a.m. Sunday morning.
A Mother Baby Center employee was held at gunpoint on 25th Street East outside of the Children’s Minnesota Emergency Department, a hospital representative says.
“The safety of our staff, patients and their families is paramount to everything we do at Children’s Minnesota,” a hospital statement said. “We are grateful the victim was not hurt, and for the quick actions of the Minneapolis Police.”
Minneapolis police say the woman involved was not harmed.
The hospital representative clarified that the woman involved is not a Children’s Minnesota employee.
The suspect left the scene, according to police. No information about the suspect has been provided.
