Minneapolis Fire responds to garage explosion; 1 seriously injured

The Minneapolis Fire Department responded to a garage explosion and fire just after 11 a.m. on Saturday.
When firefighters arrived at a home in the 1000 block of 13th Avenue Southeast, they found one garage was leveled from the explosion and was entirely on fire. A neighboring garage was also on fire.
Crews found one male victim in the back of his pickup truck parked outside in serious condition, and he was taken to the hospital.
No other injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
