While we didn't break a record-high temperature Sunday, no one was complaining.
Many got outside to soak up the sun and warmth.
At Midway Express Car Wash in Saint Paul many wiped away the winter blues and cleaned off dirt and grime.
"It's all great," Kevin Burns said. "You give me this in February. You give me this March. I'm happy."
Some on Grand Avenue sat outside and grabbed a coffee.
"Soak it in now and be ready for what might come," Jon Dahl said.
With tempertures in the 40s, even waiting for a bus for Rachel Zemmer wasn't a challenge.
"It's just marvelous," Zemmer said. "I love the sunshine. It's just really sort of upped my mood a lot, got me out of the doldrums."
Many were glad for a break from old man winter as temperatures are expected to drop this week.
