MDH: 44 newly-reported COVID-19 deaths, 4,511 newly-reported cases
Monday, the Minnesota Department of Health reported*:
- 44 newly-reported deaths from COVID-19
- 4,511 newly-reported positive COVID-19 tests
*Data posted on Monday represents data as of 4 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, to 4 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, due to the Thanksgiving holiday. However, death and hospitalization data wasn’t processed on Nov. 25-26.
Additionally, MDH said:
- 7.72 million COVID-19 vaccinations have been administered
- 3.34 million people have completed the vaccine series
- 69.7% of those 5 and older have received at least one dose of the vaccine
As of Monday, MDH also reported:
- 94,671 total breakthrough cases, accounting for 2.885% of fully vaccinated Minnesotans
- 3,922 total breakthrough hospitalizations, accounting for 0.120% of fully vaccinated Minnesotans
- 655 breakthrough deaths, accounting for 0.020% of fully vaccinated Minnesotans

Meanwhile, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported, as of Monday, all 87 counties in Minnesota remained at a high level of COVID-19 community transmission.
